Brown County Retired Teachers Association Regular Membership is available for all retired teachers and administrators living in the Brown County area. Regular Membership dues are $10.00 per year. Associate Membership is available for friends of education, spouses, and active teachers or administrators. Associate Membership dues are $5.00 per year. Please join us!

BCRTA is affiliated with Indiana Retired Teachers Association
and we encourage all Indiana educators to join the IRTA. By joining and supporting the IRTA, we become part of a large voice speaking for Indiana retired teachers and administrators. IRTA leadership spend many hours each year in contact with our legislators and attending meetings that affect decisions about our personal retirement checks, 13th checks, a COLA, and also pertinent decisions about public education.
Regular Membership dues for retired teachers and administrators that receive a pension from the Indiana State Teachers’ Retirement Fund is $35 annually. IRTA dues can also be automatically deducted from your September retirement check but you must notify the IRTA office by July 15. IRTA Associate Membership for active teachers, spouses, or friends interested in education is $15 annually.
